Be a Permanent Resident in 12 Months!

In 2008, the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism in Canada implemented a new process for Federal Skilled Worker Class Applications.

One of the criteria in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Class Program is that the applicant must be a professional with at least one year of experience in the jobs identified as priority positions.  Those belonging to the list have the advantage to be processed and receive the result of the VISA application in 12 months, as compared to the old system of 60 months.

Are you qualified?

As of June 26, 2010, the Government of Canada announced a new list of priority occupations eligible for processing under Federal Skilled Worker Program

0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers
0811 Primary Production Managers (Except Agriculture)
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management

If you are considering working and living in Canada, and you are eligible under the new immigration act, it is your best interest to apply immediately. Within the next 12 months, Government of Canada will only process 20,000 applications with a cap of 1,000 for each occupation.  Consult with our Immigration advisors to know more about the Federal Skilled Workers Program – our consultation services are free of charge.
